The Jigsaw Centre is a place to grow socially and an awesome spot to meet new friends and try new things!
We boast experienced and trained staff with 30 years of working with adults with developmental disabilities.
The Jigsaw Centre is located at the Burlington Baptist Church on New Street in Burlington. Our Clients enjoy the accessible amenities in the downtown area of Burlington and surrounding areas.
We are a short walk from the Burlington YMCA, Public Library and gorgeous Spencer Smith Park. We have full access to public transportation and a bus stops directly outside the Centre.
A host of well-planned activities help The Jigsaw Centre clients feel satisfied they’ve chosen it as their Adult Day Care Centre. Over the past year, we have been working closely with Halton District School Board to provide a comprehensive transition program for school leavers and the experience has been fruitful and educational from both sides.
Dignity, kindness, respect and compassion (with a pinch of the eccentric) make us a unique program with person centred approaches.
We are new, Innovative and looking for some adventurous new friends to come and join us!
We operate Monday through Friday from 8:30am until 3:30pm.

THE JIGSAW CENTRE
New Program for Adults with Developmental Disabilities
Our mission is to recognize that the term fundamental is an objective one. Our innovative practices, support networks and willingness to lead as well as learn from our students ensure that the fun remains in fundamental.
We offer programs to adults with Developmental Disabilities over the age of 20. Between us, we have diverse and lengthy careers in the social care field with qualifications and professionalism acquired along the way. As we grow, our team will be trained, qualified and encouraged to support our student's independence through change, choice and respect.
REOPENING AUGUST 4TH 2020
As of August 4th, the Jigsaw Centre is once again open.
Things have changed considerably but after a few days in with our regular clientele in the service, we’re happy to say it looks like we are good to go.
We’re meeting and exceeding all provincial and federal government requirements to keep our students safe and our clients have been outstanding in following and maintaining protocols.
A big thanks to the families of our friends- without you easing your children through these alien processes, we would have found it virtually impossible to reopen.
Huge thanks also to our friends at the Burlington Baptist Church who have been supportive from day one- but particularly in these past difficult months.
As always, we will provide a fulfilling and creative service and-now more than ever, keeping the emphasis on fun!!
